Hunter secured the tender to provide a Design for a disused sixties building on site. The objective was to improve the derelict structure with extensions and develop into a new training centre and Laboratory.

The Problem

The proposed location for the work was in a busy production area, that manufactured Petro-chemical products. A derelict sixties building was supplied to us, as part of the redevelopment and build. Planning applications was part of the project, and a high-level fume extraction stack would need to be designed, approved by local planning and installed by Hunter.

The Solution

Hunter was engaged to present a Design presenting a high specification Laboratory and training area. External works included solutions and schemes to upgrade roads, parking, pathways, inclusive of external lighting and drainage.

Achievements

This design was completed in 12 weeks. The design, drawings and planning applications were well received and successful. The corporate through a competitive tendering process, let the build works with Hunter. A feature of this project was that the detail design ran in parallel to the construction. So pleased with the quality of the project, Hunter was invited by the corporate marketing group and introduced to their company Executives.
