Compliance

Hunters recognise the importance of compliance in each and every aspect of our organisation. Our aim is to ensure all risks associated with our works are managed, meeting all our safety, legal and environmental obligations.
  • Health & Safety

Hunter believe the Health & Safety of all persons is of paramount importance, it is our number one priority. Hunters adopt a consistent and rigorous approach to health and safety to progressively improve the health and safety of our employees and assist those who work on our sites and ensure the health and safety of others is not adversely affected by our actions or inactions. This approach is translated across to a number of different subcontractors and specialist suppliers. Our subcontractor approval and scoring process identifies those with appropriate experience and credentials ensuring a comprehensive and aligned approach which our safety record confirms.

Our Health & Safety Policy has been developed taking into account the level of risks reflective of our business needs, and we have developed a management system detailed enough to provide guidance yet be flexible enough to allow change & improvements to be made across our business.

We have developed a robust policy that we successfully implement to provide continual improvement.

  • Quality

It is the established policy of Hunters to provide our clients with a service which conforms fully with client and statutory requirements. Our Quality management system helps us provide a continually improved and better service and fulfil client satisfaction.

Hunter Quality policy aims to achieve sustained, profitable growth by providing services which consistently satisfy the needs and expectations of our clients. This level of quality is achieved through adoption of a system of procedures that promotes the level of competence of Hunters to our clients.

Achievement of this policy involves all staff, who are individually responsible for the quality of their work, resulting in a continually improving working environment for all.

The objectives of the Quality Assurance System are:

    a) To maintain an effective Quality Assurance System complying with International Standard ISO9001 (Quality Systems).

    b) To achieve and maintain a level of quality which enhances the Company's reputation with clients.

    c) To ensure compliance with relevant statutory and safety requirements.

    d) To endeavour, at all times, to maximize customer satisfaction with the services provided by Hunters.

  • Environmental

Hunters are committed to incorporating sustainability and reducing the environmental impact of our business. We believe that best environmental practice is essential to good business management.

It has now become widely recognised that the earth has limited raw materials and their extraction and use should be minimised wherever practicable. All waste has an effect on the environment,

Waste is defined by the Environmental Protection Act 1990 as: -

any substance which constitutes scrap material or effluent or otherwise, any unwanted surplus arising from the application of any process:

any substance or article which requires to be disposed of as being broken, worn out, contaminated or otherwise spoiled.

Waste anywhere within an organisation is a drain on company resources; as it is a symptom of over purchasing, incorrect use, insufficient use, unsuitable plant / machinery and inadequate controls. Therefore, it is a financial loss to the company in the original purchase; an additional cost to control and dispose of the waste, and the potential environmental impact on disposal.

As part of the initial management processes, Hunters Project Management team will determine waste management controls, logistics, identify the licensed carriers to be utilised and determine site responsibilities for waste management measures and reporting.

Our aim is to reduce waste by the application of changes in design, controls, procedures, instruction, training and technical solutions in the delivery of works, to reduce waste to the lowest level practicable.
