A build inside customers redundant offices. The customer referenced this project ‘The bldg. 4 job’. The work required surveying and locating services in and around the site. Some had to be kept active as they served other processes and plant.
The Problem
The design carried out prior and during the installation due to demanding timescales for completion
The Solution
This was a previous office and store area. Enabling works included stripping out and removing old services. Enabling and installing the plant and services was let in two parts. It was a clear advantage to remove the service and recognise isolation locations. The positions were used to extend services when necessary
Achievements
Manging the design and enabling works (demolitions) aided to swift delivery of the project. Familiarity with the site and services all achieved during demolitions/enabling provided trades with accessibility and know how. A good project delivered to high standards. Recently recruited customer Project Managers on site, have since commented on the quality of the installation.
