A Pharmaceutical Production site located on the Wirral Merseyside need a review of the existing backup Generator services. This led to a major upgrade
The Problem
Multiple ad-hoc changes had been made ad-hoc on site at Moreton. The USA Company had further devised a site development plan for the site in Moreton Wirral. The existing Generator back up system distribution and capacity had been left behind. A new development of the Campus was now bringing further challenges for the existing system. There was an urgent need for review.
The Solution
The customer employed his own design agents to devise a solution regarding a possible power failure on the site from the grid and asked hunter to liaise with them about the supply and construction of a new system. A Capital Expenditure proposal was compiled, and Hunter was consulted, and budget costings were presented.
Achievements
Hunter in a competitive tendering exercise, secured the order for this work. The work included the supply of a new Generator and design works as we provided calculations to customer Project Manager. Construction of the slab and distribution of supply to each of the campus buildings. Inclusive was electrical plant and equipment, civil works, termination, testing and commissioning.
